Change your public URL (page ID)
Your page's URL is thamit.app/your-id. You can change the "ID" part (the slug) from "Public URL" in the Settings tab.
Characters you can use in an ID
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (
-). - 3 to 32 characters long.
- Some words (reserved by the service) are unavailable. You also can't pick an ID that someone else is already using.
Before publishing
Before you publish, you can change your page ID as many times as you like. Feel free to experiment until you find an ID you're happy with.
After publishing
Once you publish, your ID is locked in. After publishing, you can change it only once.
- When you change it, the old URL automatically redirects to the new one. Anyone who follows an old link will still reach your new page.
- After that one change, you can't change it again.
- Changing your ID after publishing goes through a confirmation dialog. Choose carefully.
As a rule, an old ID you've given up can't be reclaimed.
