Keep notes of worlds to visit
Keep the worlds you found on X and elsewhere in a private list until you start VRChat. Open it from "Worlds to visit" in the dashboard menu.
Only you can see the worlds saved here. They do not appear on your public page.
Add a world
Paste into the "Add a world" box and press "Review". How it is saved depends on what you paste.
- URL of a VRChat world … The world name is read for you (optional). You can edit the name. If it cannot be read, you can save without a name and add it later.
- URL of an X post that introduces a world … The world name is read from the world link in the post. The post is saved too as the "Original post", so you can look back at it later.
- URL of an article on a world introduction site … Paste the URL of a world article on PlanetVRC or ShiaVR, and the world introduced in the article is looked up. URLs from sites that include the world ID in the URL, such as VRChat's World, VHub World Search, VRCmap, and v-portal, can be pasted as they are. Articles that list many worlds, such as rankings, cannot be used, so paste an article about a single world.
- A post with no world link … You can save the post as a note. If the text has a line such as "World: …", it becomes the draft name.
- Just a world name … Without a URL, you can note just the name. Search for it inside VRChat.
Nothing is saved until you press the save button. You can also add a note (up to 200 characters).
You can save up to 500 worlds, including visited worlds. The same world is not saved twice.
Switch between "Want to visit" and "Visited" and search names, creators, or notes. Each list shows the newest saves first.
Saved worlds show the VRChat world image as a thumbnail. When there is no image, a colored tile for that world is shown instead.
Save from the share menu on your phone or a bookmark on PC
You can send the page you are viewing without copying the URL. You check what was sent before it is saved (nothing is saved on its own).
- Android (Chrome) … Open your thamit dashboard in Chrome and choose "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app") from the menu. Then choose "thamit" in the share menu of X or Chrome, and "Worlds to visit" opens and starts looking it up.
- Browser on PC … Drag the "Save to thamit" button under "Save quickly from other places" in "Worlds to visit" to your bookmarks bar. Press it while a world page or an X post is open, and "Worlds to visit" opens in a new tab. On X, press it while the post itself is open.
- iPhone … For now, you cannot send it directly from the share menu. Copy the URL and paste it.
If you are not logged in to thamit, log in and share again.
Go in VRChat
Each saved world offers these actions. "Details & favorites" and "Original post" are in the three-dot menu at the top right of the card.
- Open launch page … Opens the launch page of the world on the VRChat website. Log in to VRChat and launch to join the world. On Quest (standalone) or a phone, send yourself an invite (Invite Me) from the same page, and join from the invite you receive in VRChat.
- Details & favorites … The world's page on the VRChat website. Add it to your VRChat favorites there to reach it from your favorites in VRChat too.
- Copy name … Shown for name-only notes. Paste it into the world search inside VRChat.
The instance type you launch decides who can join you. Anyone can join a Public instance. If you do not want to meet strangers, choose Friends+ or Invite. Some worlds support PC only.
Mark as visited
Press "Visited" to move a world to the "Visited" list. Use "Undo" in the notification to reverse the latest change. You can also move it back from its card in the "Visited" list.
Filter with tags
Add tags to worlds to filter your list by tag. Use any grouping you like, such as "Horror", "Puzzle", or "With friends". Only you can see tags; they do not appear on your public page.
- Add tags on the confirmation screen before saving, or with "Edit". Pick a suggestion, or type one and press "Add". Separate with commas to add several at once.
- Up to 10 tags per world, and up to 20 characters per tag.
- The tags you use are shown above the list with counts. Press one to show only worlds with that tag. Press it again, or press "All", to go back. You can also press a tag on a world to filter.
- The search box also matches tag text.
Edit or delete
Open the card’s three-dot menu and choose "Edit" to change the name and note. You can add a world URL to name-only and post-only notes later ("Add URL"). Once a URL is added, "Open launch page" becomes available.
Delete is also under "Edit". You confirm before it is deleted.
Import from your world list
If the "World list" part on your page has worlds with URLs, choose "Import from your page" near the add box, review the list, and import the ones not saved yet in one go. Your page stays as it is.
How reading works
- The URL or text you paste is not saved. Only the world ID, name, author name, note, and original post ID are saved.
- When you paste an X post, your device asks X for the world URL. When you paste an article from a world introduction site, the thamit server reads the article page once and looks for the world ID on it (the page is not saved). The world name and image URL are read by the thamit server from the public VRChat page.
- Thumbnail images are loaded by your device directly from VRChat.
- Saved worlds are included in your data export. They are deleted together with your account.
