Contact us and report a problem

Here's how to reach the thamit team, and what you can do when something goes wrong.

How to contact us

For questions about using thamit, bug reports, takedown requests from rights holders, or requests to disclose or delete your personal information, please email us. You can also open the report form from "Report / Contact" at the very bottom of thamit's own pages, such as the top page and Help.

Report a page that breaks the rules

If you find a page you think breaks the Terms of Service — harassment, impersonation, reposting without permission, looking for real-life dates, and so on — please let us know.

  • From a public page … Press "Report a problem" at the very bottom of the page to open the report form.
  • From "Everyone's pages" … Press "…" on the card and choose "Report a problem".
  • By email … Send the URL of the page and what the problem is to info@thamit.app.

Including the URL of the page and what exactly is wrong helps us check it faster.

What happens after you report

We aim to check every report within 24 hours, and if the page may break the Terms of Service, to take an initial action: hiding it from listings, suspending the page, or removing content. This is a first response. After a closer look, we may keep, change, or lift that action.

  • We never tell the owner of the reported page who reported it.
  • We may not be able to reply individually to reports sent through the form. If you'd like to hear the outcome, or need to talk it through with us, please email us.

Block someone

If you're logged in and have created your page, you can block other people. Pages of people you block no longer appear in Everyone's pages or Find events for you, and you can't send each other mutual account link requests.

  • They aren't notified. Nothing changes on their side.
  • You can still open their page from its URL.
  • You can unblock them anytime.

How to block

  • From their public page … Press "Block" at the very bottom of their page. While they're blocked, it shows "Blocked / Unblock" instead.
  • From "Everyone's pages" … Press "…" on their card and choose "Block".

Either way, you'll see what blocking does before you confirm.

Unblock someone

In the Settings tab, open "Personal preferences" and go to "Blocked people" to see everyone you've blocked and unblock them.

Blocking only removes someone from your own view. If there's harassment or a rule violation, please also report it to us.
